Yeah but if you pyschonanalyse the character he is a sociopath.
!) He lacks empathy
2) manipulates
3) Lies frequently
4) Easily bored and relives it by breaking rules
5) Not take responsibility of actions
6) superficial charm

I liked it, very similar to killing them softly. Feels like it was made by the same people.
