This is the same guy that said that suarez is "very close to signing for Arsenal" just 2 weeks ago.

If it does in fact turn out to be true the 'support of the fans' is wheeled out as the reason I will want to puke in a bucket.

There haven't been club after club knocking the door down to take him as he probably expected and his conduct has only made him more toxic I would guess.

Still looks like a stalemate at present, but he or his agent are probably hedging bets here.

I don't mind if he signs an extension. Let's all pretend that nothing has happened and he goes on scoring goals for us. We'll sell him at the right price some time down the road.

If he signs a new deal it will only be so he can make sure the escape clause is watertight. Plus earn a few more quid.

Would love him to stay and be 100% committed but his past suggests loyalty isn't his strong point.

I have been saying this for a week saurez will stay and leave in January or next session his contract will be amended and signed by both parties he can leave for an offer of over £40m.
