We could be having the same discussion about countino in 2 years time as we were about Torres once. This talk of loyalty to fans is bizarre do any of you really expect that ?

These guys ate very very very highly paid mercenaries as our our owners all for them are only interested in one thing and none of them have any compnnection to the city or the clubs culture.

Surely as he is contracted to the club if he is to leave he must put in a transfer request to do so. He has not done so. So he must be in breach of contract. I am getting fed up with this now so he can just fook off. And this from one of his supporters through all the other stuff.

I think he will go on strike. How the hell we get £40m for him with that attitude I do not know.
Thing is now is that he will be asking the Premier League to hear his case whilst he is suspended. Got a feeling we will appeal so that any decision makes an enforced sale too late for the window anyway. What happens then?

We need to get rid now and I think we should agree to sell to anyone outside of the Prem for any bid over £40 mill. I suggest we even send a few hints to Madrid that this is the situation if they are interested.

To be fair whilst we all hope LFC are slowly progressing I think that, whilst I'm dissapointed with how he is conducting himself, it is fair enough that Suarez wants out and wants out now. A players career is short and who would blame him for wanting to make the most of it? Being a footballer is, in nearly all circumstances, mercenary by nature and if your very good you get to choose where you play and get loads of money while you do it. I'd have preferred a bit more respect from the guys but he's too good for us at the minute and without the emotional ties that kept the likes of Gerrard with us he is bound to seek success elsewhere. We just need to make sure we get a decent fee whilst also making sure we dont strengthen the 2 teams (spurs and arse) that we have a chance of catching over the next couple of years.
