There is a gap of about £40m revenue with the top 4 that needs to close in the long term. We were forced to reduce costs so that we can rebuild. It is about sustainable growth, not bubbles.

Stadium
If we gained a stadium partner (naming rights or whatnot) the stadium redevelopment is the only viable option without creating unnecessary debt. A new development would cost twice as much and we would lose the history and power of Anfield. I was set against redevelopment, as I could not see how the capacity could reach the levels needed. With the redevelopment we are meant to get 60k and in theory the other 50% of the stadium is still an option to upgrade, so i'm all for it now. I just want to see it happen.

The young players could gel together and we grow a team that can step up, without expensive purchases.

At the end of the day I just want forward progress. I see this project starting year two, and I can only judge it retrospectively as I have no crystal ball. If we actually go backwards then I will have to change my opinion.

I look for the positive signs of progress... we scored more goals, we played some good football, we had more points than the previous year, the difference between the first half or the year and the second, lots of points lost were stupid mistakes.
No Suarez in the last for games but we still did the business.

I support wakka he clearly looks to have had enough and I don't blame him. People are pretending to stick by the rules but causing trouble by taking false offence at everything. Flames has gone and its up to all of us to behave like adults. Wakka never swears but as clearly had enough of the stupid games some play on here.
