It's too bad Robbie Keane isn't moving clubs regularly anymore. It was always worth a chuckle when you would see him at press conferences saying "I've always been a supporter of Spurs, no wait Liverpool, no I mean Spurs again."
Back on topic - I don't see us signing Eriksen. I don't think club stature is the stumbling block. Champions League or not, we ARE a bigger club than Leverkusen. I think we could afford the transfer fee (not even £15 million) and wages (certainly less than £100,000) no problem. But sooner or later the big boys will realize that this is one of the most talented young players in Europe and will snap him up. It's that simple. The only way we're going to get deals like this done is if we act quickly and decisively without giving other clubs the time to react and put a bid together. If we dither along agonizing over a few quid, I have no doubt that we'll miss out.
