I use the word mate too but never twice in one sentence. Its not just a scouse thing either, everyone in Belfast seems to be my "mate"

I disagree with the initial post. Firstly, i disagree that anyone has been begging him to stay as i havent seen one such post. If you have, please could you quote it? I have seen posts saying we should not let him go easy, but not begging and pleading for him to stay as is stated in the OP.
Now, using the comparison in the OP, a comparison to a girlfriend or wife, do you not find it only logical that if you love someone you fight for them?
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, since i cannot find a single post involving "pleading" or "crying" for the player to stay, a notion the entire opening post was based on, i disagree with it fully. Its based on made up facts or posts, whatever you want to call them.
if you do find such a post, please quote it.

if you do find such a post, please quote it. Alright Cheryl Cole, calm down  No I kid of course,I would agree that if you love someone then it is only right to fight for them. However if they have cheated on you then that would obviously change your relationship massively. You should fight to make something work but it shouldn't be hard on every level, at a certain point it should just come naturally. That's the key to a sustainable relationship, a connection. So to sum up, I have no idea how that metaphor has anything to do with Luis Suarez??

Ok, picture this scenario....your wife wants to leave you because she cheated, but you have 3 kids together, do you swallow your priđe and try. Work on the relationship for the šake of the kids and the love you once had? WOW, this is too deep even for me. WTF, your back one day and you got me talking relationships and fighting for love....go back to Amsterdam my point is, i havent seen a single post begging and pleading for Luis to stay, nor have I heard BR say "please oh please dear Luis, stay some more"...so the OP is not based on valid arguments imo.
