FSG are destroying Liverpool and bleeding the club dry of its fan base and destroying all hope. All that matters to them is extracting money short to medium term.

In ten years the club will be bled dry.

Right, because they have extracted so much money so far already.

Anyway, not getting into that, but, they have shown that they were willing to splash 20 mil on Mkhitaryan, but that they were not prepared to be held ransom. So many on here including myself, have complained, let me correct myself, b1tched and moaned, when we overpaid for Downing, Hendo, Carroll etc, yet now, when we have finally taken a FIRM STANCE against being ripped off, for both Dempsey and Mkhitaryan, now it's all FSG's fault, they dont want to invest etc etc.

Get to grips guys, they held their ground, they will find a replacement, i suspect 1 one is already lined up. I insisted I thought Suarez would stay, but with his omission from our kit launch efforts, the timing of the leaked info about Arsenals bid 2 days before we met with his agent, the manner it's all played out in, I think he is as good as gone. However, that is not a tragedy, he will be replaced, just like so many before him.

As Dunk has said, lets just get it over with. With LFC most probably leaking the info about Arsenals transfer bid, it seems they are trying to instigate a bidding war, which means they know he will leave, and in that case, fair play to FSG, get the highest price that we can.

In ten years time, some will still be moaning about prices and complaining about mistakes in management etc etc, whilst others will be supporting the club at every oppurtunity, no matter whether we are in 1st place in the PL or last place in league one.

We'll see where we end up in the coming season, and I hope some of you will eat your words then, if not then perhaps it will be time for a change, but at the moment I believe we need stability and all the support we can give to the club as a whole.

Listen to some of the people on here moaning about the home kit, the away kit, the 3rd kit, this player or that player. For crying out loud, WE ARE GROWN MEN AND WOMEN...well most of us.

There are few things more annoying than listening to grown men whine like little b1tches...(pardon me french). I am not reffering to anyone in particuar, I am sure at some moment that I have done the same, but come on, lets get back to supporting the club and giving the guys a chance.

If we lose faith in the club and players, they will struggle to believe in themselves too.

Supporting the club is not just saying nice things Marko.

I sometimes feel if we made more of an outcry it might spark them into action or induce them to sell up and get owners who will push us forward. So what would be supoorting the club then?

In any case I think supporting the club is increasingly a cosmetic word in todays football. You either watch on the TV or for the small band who attend prem games at top clubs get absolutely fleeced.

I hate the way the game has gone.

Fine Stanley, if you hate the way the game has gone and are no longer enjoying it, abandon it, go watch cricket or something.

No one is holding a gun to your head forcing you to watch. I am not saying we should just say nice things, far from it, but slating every player we have brought in is not the right way to do it. And by saying "Oh we should have brought in this guy instead, or this guy, or we should have paid 30 mil for some other guy" we aren't exactly showing a message of support to our new players or welcoming them with arms wide open are we?

No, we are applying further pressure on them and making them feel unwanted. I am reffering only to the playin staff here Stanley, lets not gang up on them straight away without seeing them kick a ball yet.

Just because they didnt cost 30 billion pesos doesnt mean they are no good..

I think perhaps you misunderstand my posts, i will not accept anything and defend FSG at all costs. I will do so when i think they have a poiint. As far as HM is concerned, we've missed out on him, whether we move onto a target who costs 8m or 30m instead, makes no difference to me as long as that player performs. Would you mind another Coutinho like player for 8m? My problem is with the idea and concept that unless we sign 30m players, we arent signing quality.

Having said all of this, i am pretty sure we will make at least 1 BIG signing and probably another 1 or 2 cheapish signings. Lets not forget that the window is not even nearly over. If Luis leaves, which I now believe he will, i expect 2 big names to arrive, when i say big, i dont mean Cavani or Ronaldo, more along the lines of Eriksen, although i dont think it will be Eriksen. I dont see that deal happening. However i am sure an alternative for MKhitaryan was identified a long time ago and that we will now pursue that alternative.

Also, if the media are to be believed, we offered more money for HM than Dortmund, so how can FSG be blamed for us not getting him?

Marko this is a football chat room lets not forget I can understand it if we were throwing bricks at them at melwood but some perspective is needed.

As for me watching some other sport I might just do that. Rugby league for one.

It was probably the wage bill, the Sign on Bonus or simply "the project" itself that didn't suit HM.

Could also be the lack of Europa games, who knows?

I dont know what it was but i doubt it was wages as i doubt Dortmund will offer significantly higher wages. If it was a small difference in the wages then FSG f**ked it up.
