So after this weeks couple of arguments on threads over Irelands national team been useless and England been the main footballing nation, coolflames and Faz should eat their hats. Just goes to show no matter how far ahead of us England are in the rankings, both our futures are pretty much the same - also rans. Laughing my ass off right now, this is the future of English football, outclassed by the mighty Norway!!

Lol i know, but its good to laugh at it after some of the things said on here during the week about who is and isn't a footballing nation, by the looks of things England are making other footballing nations look terrible. Shocking display, nothing less than expected though.

I read a report saying that the number of U21 players sting in the top flight is the lowest it's been. That's the problem (and Pearce is the manager). And the sad thing is, most of these players probably never will at at the top level because there are far too many cheap foreign imports in the EPL. The FA need to look at this and be strong enough to do like the Germans and dirt it out.

But wilkij another thing is do Englishmen have the god given ability from birth? When i'm in holidays in Italy we stay in Rome in our grand mothers house its not a holiday resort, and you see young lads of 10 and 11 playing in the park doing things on the ball the the average Englishman/Irishman wouldn't be able to do until their 14 or 15, its completely different over there. Same in Spain the U14 teams over there would whip Englands U21 team off the park lol
