Yeah but to you and me they aren't. I think they still are to the young ones, just like they were to us at that age.

To be fair i actually buy at least 1 or 2 new shirts each year, not because i think am a better fan than those who dont buy them but just because i like to buy each kit i have at least 2 of the kits from each of the last 11 or 12 seasons and if it continues for another few years will have quiet a collection. Can say 100% i will no be buying either or this seasons away or alternative kit, both are stink. Love the home one though.

The young ones yes but don't think having the latest kit is a big deal for adults anymore

I agree Stan but to be honest since I turned 20 a decade ago it's never been a big deal to me. I dish out for the ones I like and that's usually 1 every 2 years....

Just forked out for the 86' retro kit - no need to ever buy one of these modern monstrosities again (the retro shirts look better the more worn they become, too)

Got an old Adidas replica "Candy" presentation jacket hidden away somewhere, in that silver / red cuffs & collar.. fresh as fukk.

Leave the new kits for the youngin's - get a retro kit and you're good for the life of it.

Have a skeg: http://store.liverpoolfc.tv/Double-Winners-86-Shirt/pid-36091#
