No to defend Suarez , but what he said to the press in Uruguay is that he love the club, the city and the fans but that the rest included the English press is too much to endure! When he said that nobody defend him ,he is talking about the press , not the fans or the club, the translator doesn't get the meaning ! Even to the last minute the press is trying to put him in the worst light ! Oh my  Please wake up and smell the coffee!!! " oh it's the media" ffs do you honk the Spanish media will go any easier on him?

His quotes regarding his future say no such thing. He has said that RM are a huge club that many people, himself included, would find hard to turn down. That has been twisted into him wanting to leave and join Madrid this summer...and some people are falling for the media hook line and sinker. How can anyone be angry with tabloid lies when they are so quick to take them as gospel themselves?

vish he was bang to right over the biting what did you expect the club to do give him a walkover , come mate , yes he is a very good player , but all the bad stuff has been brought on by himself . Agree with that, this is what I am saying, the club didn't give him undue support, rightfully, that may be he expected. but vish brendan and dalglish have backed him to the hilt , the fans have backed over overwhelming evidence for the fans and the club into not backing him , sorry vish he has been back and he is bang out of order to disrespect the club and its fans with these lies.

That's the clause as far as I am aware...
I doubt FSG would be silly to of worded it so clear cut as to £40m and he can go.
As it is. Real could bid £40m talks start. Bayern then bid £45m and they are then in pole position to buy him.
I think He'll go to RM for something like £47.5m Please elaborate.... Contracts generally have release clauses meaning once that figure is met, the club is powerless to prevent him from leaving. Clause are not on an "offers over" basis. Look at the Aspas deal - we activated a clause and he is being sold for that exact figure. There is no way RM will pay £47.5m for him if he has a release clause for £40m!!! Not all contracts are the same, Like I said FSG would of been silly to just have the clause set at £40m. If higher bids come in clubs will either have to match or outbid them. It's that simple. It's occured before with high profile signings.

What backing did he get in the biting affair? Not much and rightly so, as it was his fault. May be he expected more, but, anyway I think it's a pretext as he wants to move to a bigger and more ambitious club.

What unbelievable support has the club shown him in the biting affair? Don't be naive, whatever the club did, it was to protect their asset, thinking that anybody owes anything to anybody is nonsense, he has been paid to do a job and he did it well, he [oops] up and he was fined for it. He has a contract, but, if there is a release clause, it is an option he has that he can exercise. And what platform did the club give him, he won't even be in the Europa league, let alone champions league. The platform that such players are looking for is Champions league.

By the way, apparently, the infamous £40m clause apparently just means Liverpool has to 'consider' a bid over that amount, but NOT necessarily accept it. Whatever t he f*ck that means, I don't know.
