Clearly, the statement released by LFC is standard practice. It doesn't mean they're going to force him to stay, but they have to take that standpoint to keep his transfer fee up. If Real/Bayern want him, they better be prepared to pay big bucks.

Didnt we get like Downing,Doni, Henderson and someone else early in the KK/DC window?
I think we'll get like 4 in for a nice big photo on early in July.
My guess those 4 would be Atsu, Aspas, Toure and Papa.
The Suarez deal will most likely be the story of the Summer as with the Carrol and Skrtel deals. cant see the Papa one happening....hes said many times he doesnt want to leave schalke

He screwed us last season,screwed us at the end of this season and if staying the start of next season.Now it loofs like our whole transfer window is going to be about this especially since it won't be sorted until windows end.We will get screwed again.The club say he's going nowhere so the media are going to sell a lot of papers this window.He is getting on like KD's support didn't play a large part in his getting sacked.Great player for us when he was eligible but just feel so let down.However as bad as the media attention was,it was all his own fault I shall now call you Mystic Meg as i believe everything you said will come true

I believed he'd give us another season though. I feel he owes it to us. With him openly coming out and saying he wants to leave, though, I think the point of no return has been reached. The next step has to be the club forcing his hand. He'll need to submit a formal transfer request if he wants his move - just like Torres and Mascherano had to do before him. If we get over £40m for him, it'll be great. I'd be happy with £40m. Anything else on top of that is a bonus. Anything under it though, and I think we're being screwed. At least now, the wheels can start to be turned further on the targets in mind to replace him.

radio merseyside reporting this utter nonsense from suarez "he wants to leave because of his image has been tarnished " really luis tarnished go away unbelievable comments from suarez , i agree with dunk and many others yes great player but totally untrustworthy , if he want to leave to enhance his career by playing CL football then fine , but this utter tripe coming from him over the press and his image dear me surely he is having a laugh .
