Really hope we dont sign this Alberto chap, I mean if he wasnt good enough for Barcelona then why us? You can't compare Barca first team with current LFC squad.

Really hope we dont sign this Alberto chap, I mean if he wasnt good enough for Barcelona then why us? i take it thats a joke? there are only 4 places in the barca midfield, there are hundreds of players who arent good enough for barca that would improve us. *also i read all your posts in the voice of Owen Wilson. First of all, Owen Wilson? That's awesome!  Secondly, this guy was loaned out to the Barcelona B side and he didnt even make enough of an impact for them to justify buying him as a future prospect who just might possibly make it as a useful player someday. Is makes me doubt that he will be able to make it for us in a foreign league. Thirdly, Owen Wilson! That's awesome!

To be fair mate, doubting his ability to play for us, based on the fact that he couldn't make the Barca first team, at this moment in time, is very laughable!

Bar, didn't Balague say that Barcelona still have the option to sign Alberto Ramero?

Bar, didn't Balague say that Barcelona still have the option to sign Alberto Ramero? Yeah he did, but from what I understand, they haven't - and don't plan to - take it up. Think he said they still could take it up, but it's doubtful, and he's LFC-bound as it is.

He was only on loan to Barca B for the season, but it was to the view of being signed up by the first team. It's the first team that has chosen not to take up signing him. The B side was never the long term plan for him. He's a Sevilla player.

The B side was never the long term plan for him. He's a Sevilla player. It doesn't make sense to me that they would try him out for the first team by putting him in the B side though?
