Enough is enough for me. He tainted our name worldwide repeatedly.

Keeps talking to the press in ways which are not professional for ANY player who wears our shirt.

Don't care how good you are. No single man is bigger than the club!

Take the money and run!

I think your anger is misdirected. If the translation is correct and this is true, we should all be angry at the media and FA who are driving him out of the PL.

This seems fairly concrete. Lots of the media pushing the story. If he does want to leave for Madrid, maybe we take £50m off of them and spend big.

I think Real would be ideal for him they do love a dirty player.

If they don't get Bale they'll be after Suarez.

It will be tough to see him go but I've seen enough of Sturridge and coutinho to be happy that he will be replaced.

I just love Suarez and hope he stays.

Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid will be in for him this year.

He deserves better than the press and Europa league.

The interview is available to listen to as well, but obviously in his native tongue. From the bit I heard of it, the quoted and transcripted were identical. I don't like it as much as many Liverpool fans won't like it, but I fear he will be gone so long as Madrid offer us a suitable fee. Maybe we will get Higuain in return?

With rumours swirling about possible interest from Real Madrid, Liverpool player Luis Suárez has recognised that it would be difficult "to say no" to the Spanish club. The Uruguayan was speaking during an interview with radio station ‘Sport890’, based in his home country.

Suárez said he was happy at Liverpool, but it had been a tough year for him and his family, a situation that might open the door to his departure from Anfield. “I have a contract with Liverpool, but it would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid”.

Here’s more from the interview:

Are you close to Madrid? Have they talked to your agent?

The desire to win with the big clubs is always there. I’ve talked to my agent, there’s nothing concrete. To say no to Madrid would always be difficult and more so with the team they have. I have a contract with Liverpool, but it would be very difficult to say no to Real Madrid. There are a lot of rumours in the transfer period, but you never know until firm offers are made.

Is your time up at Liverpool?

I’m happy at Liverpool. I’m happy because of the fans. I made a mistake, I’m human, but they’ve talked about me in ways they shouldn’t have. My family have suffered and things got out of hand. My daughter and my wife have suffered. I’m not prepared to continue to put up with the English press.

If you could would you go to another league, like the Spanish?

I love Liverpool, but if there is a chance of playing somewhere else... I suffered too much as a kid to get where I am to be attacked unfairly by the English press. They haven’t appreciated me as a player, they’ve just judged my attitude.

Is the club insisting you stay?

Yes, they’ve always said that. I’ve talked to the coach, and he knows what I want. He was a player. Some of the players understand my situation; enough said.

Cavani. One of the two will end up at Madrid?

It’s a proud thing for Uruguay that someone has the chance of going to Madrid. It’s necessary to wait until there is something more concrete, to get to the heart of the matter. The possibility means both of us are doing a good job.

Guardiola’s brother is in talks with Madrid...

When a team wants a player, they look at the player, not his agent.
