ive reserved judgement on aqua, i agree we havent seen enough of him, but other people have their opinion. ive seen enough of babel, eggnog and lucas to see the back of them for good and i believe they will be ordinary for the rest of their careers. i dont question both babel and lucas recieved their awards for their achievements as youth players, but they have not made the leap in my opinion to play for a top side, like we are supposed to be but are not because of the players we have. its not that they have failed they just havent made the cut for the very best in the world.
Luis Garcia, He drinks sangria He came from Barca, to bring us Joy He's five foot seven, he's football heaven please don't take my Luis away.

im not saying babel would be a world beater, I just think he deserves more of a chance, like the way ngog and lucas have

i feel the same.i certainly am not a Babel basher.he has what we need in a player.i can even understand his attitude.heres a young guy who is wanted by many clubs across europe,he is convinced by who ever does the convincing that liverpool is the place to further his career.then he is never really given a long run of games to show what he can do.his international place is in trouble so he moans about not playing.then he gets slated for having a bad attitude. Wenger knew he was a big threat last night and made tactical changes to cope with him,he was still closer to scoring for us than anyone else. he needs a run of 10 games with-out the treat of being dropped after one bad game.Lucas can be terrible alot and never lose his place. Babel will respond to an arm around the shoulder and not a kick in the ballocks.

i dont no why a lot of people dont like babel apart from torres hes the best striker we have by a mile hes got pace and a very powerful attacker hes light years ahead of egg nog i no he as got a attitude but wouldent you playing for rafa what as the guy to do to get a run of games because theres nobody else give the guy 3 or 4 games on the bounce an lets see what happens because egg nog is the worse striker in the prem an most of the championship i would take anyone absolutly anyone ahead of egg nog

My opinion on babel is, he would be good under right manager who believes in him. Think lucas and ngog had enough chances to show their worth.

how about we stop giving ANY of them a chance, and bring in some youth.

resorting to name calling now,
tut tut
try talking as rafa would say "Fact" rather than speculating what YOU think is happening behind the scenes
the "fact" is babel was the best player on the field when he came on so he deserves a start you accused me of reading THAT rag - far worse an insult than anything i can think of ..... as for facts i know it's a fact that he doesn't work hard in training - so would you if you knew anything about footie but you think babel is a good player so you obviously don't you are the kind of idiot who think it is ok to insult people but not to get insulted - i have no time for your type - if you are going to give it out you have to take it too

Babel has'nt helped himself during his time at Liverpool but having said that he has been treated disgracefuly by the waiter, I honestly think if he had been given the same chances and treatment as the waiters golden child Dirk Kuyt we would all be watching a different player by now.
