I don't deny he did some things wrong...but I am also not blind, I can see he is a fantastic manager. As far as retracting my statement goes, I'm sorry I just can't do that because all of your posts point towards the conclusions I made. I just cannot see how anyone looking at things rationally can claim he is a poor manager. So there have to be alterior motives behind your statements, or you are making those claims just to rile others. Which is it?
marko if you wont retract then your out of order , i have never said once that i hate anyone , hate is such a horrible word i dont hate anyone in football and i do think you should retract your comments mate .

Faz,
Who made Carra a CB? Who recognised where Carra would be the best? houllier played carragher centre back many times and he eventually progressed to centre back like many , when lawrenson signed bob played him left back and centre mid and eventually he progressed to only of the greatest ever .

the whole rafa love in is similar to the mancini thing .city fans love mancini - but the footballing world knows he is fairly crap and winging it. same as rafa, lfc fans love him for big ears and won't say a word against him even though the rest of the footballing world knows he is a bit dodgy ,negative, distant, egotistic. exact same thing. i always judged him on the football we played - and he was way too negative for liverpool fc. simple as

They are not the best managers for sure, but, in the top 10 for sure. Mancini is the manager who made Inter champions again after I don't know how many years, if ever you were unaware. They both have had problems with their players being too distant, granted, but are both good tacticians but not the greatest at man management.

Faz,
Which manager won us the CL most recently? yes benitez never questioned that he gets credit for it , but he was brought he to stop united and win the league and he failed . And Martinez failed to win the league with Wigan, along with Moyes at Everton and Alan Pardew at Newcastle. What is your point? It takes far more than spouting that nonsense every other thread Faz and you damn well know it. You are entitled to your opinion on Benitez (however skewed) no one is denying that, but you continually look at it in a vacuum as if successful clubs like United were being run like Liverpool at that time which they clearly were not. To suggest that Benitez should have won the English Premier League at what was probably the most tumultuous period in the club's history either shouts of gross ignorance of the game or someone who has no basis for their view other than a personal dislike for the man. It was miracle (with all the sh*it he dealt with whilst manager) under those two cretinous little scum bags that he even reached second.
