Not trying to be clever, just saying....also perhaps if you actually worded a question instea of just posting "Eh?" I would have been able to answer and help. This way, I wasn't. Don't know which side of the fence you sit on when it comes to Rafa so I can't tell you whether to celebrate or not.

It's surprising how people's arguments and standards change depending on the manager they are discussing. Rafa improved Chelsea's league position, improved a lot of their players, qualified for the CL and won a european trophy within 6 months of joining a club that hated his guts....(he did a similar thing in a short time when he came to Liverpool I might add)

Yet when BR is criticised, people defend him by saying that he needs 2 years to organise his team and so-called philosophy. And then we see the likes of Laudrup winning silverware in his first season, Allardyce getting a newly promoted team in the top half, and clarke peforming well above expectation at west brom.

Good managers can make changes from the off. Bad managers rely on excuses from the off.

Perhaps EMP would like Rafa more if he changed his name to Rafael Benidoyle...

Ok..I didn't think Rafa should have been sacked by us at that time.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.

my god rafa brought down the worst kinda footballing depression ever on us. he just had to go, even rafa lovers couldn't defend him in that last season.

he is as fergie said obsessed with his CV as are his fans. but he cannot be allowed to manage anywhere that requires a bit of work to do cause he is incapable.
whatever about BR at least his philosophy is absolutely miles ahead of rafa types, whatever game BR has gone into he has never changed he wants to win the game by playing good football, alot like wengner - it is to be commended.
rafa hasn't got that in him at all ,which is why he could never build anything significant.
many a game we went into with better players than the home team but rafa would contrive to make a horrible game out of it by being extra negative -putting useless defenders in wing positions etc etc. he was a boring manager that had to have a huge turnover of players cause his tactics are crap for players development.

that is all fact

understood. we should have got rid of toxic benitez as soon as he burdened us with that horrible champions league trophy. chelsea have got the right idea - let a manager win you a european cup then kick him into touch! What exactly must a chelsea manager do in order to keep his job?!?!!?
