Carheex the team that played Man U was not the full team, they scored two dubious penalty's as well. Quite a lot of players were missing. If we had all the players that could of played we could of walk it.
Players Missing/could of played
Sokolik, Ngoo, Lussey, Nacho, McLaughlin, Wisdom, Sinclair, Yesil, Sterling, Shelvey and Suso. Even Henderson could og played Haha that's 11 of the 16 I named as possible future stars....

To be fair if we didnt play or use any of the youngest this year we probably would of won the next gen series as well. We are the only team in the top half of the table (7th is top half not mid table, do the maths)to play this many youngsters. So on that level we are pretty health on that front.

Hi guys, just interested in your opinion. Hypothetically, let's say FSG were signing the top young players, ages 15-19, from all over the world, including the ajax academy, La masia and such, would it be something you would be willing to wait for to bear fruit?
So let's say, at the moment, we sign perhaps 1 or 2 10 million rated players for the 1st team, and sign another 3-4 top top rated youngsters in the age group of 15-19, would this be a sign of intent in your eyes?
I have noticed that we have an incredible collection of youthful talent at the moment and we are being linked with even more, for example, Sergi Canos, as koptalk is reporting.
If it became clear, that we are trying to assemble a team, in the 15-19 age group, that could play together, develop as a squad, and in 7-8 years make up the first team squad, would you be happy with that?
Would you give FSG more time in that case? I am just wondering.
Looking at the young players we have, it bodes well for our future.
Sokolik, Teixeira, Ngoo, Lussey, Nacho, Adorjan, Morgan, Robinson, Ibe, McLaughlin, Wisdom, Sinclair, Yesil, Coady, Sterling and Suso... That's 16 players who are absolutely in the top 10% of their age groups.. It shows a very ambitious project for teh future is developing at LFC. Look at Coutinho as well, he's what, 21? The next 50-10 years could be a lot brighter than we think...
Perhaps it's just my optimistic view. What do you guys think? Would your opinion of how LFC is being run, be any different, if you knew that we would suffer mid table mediocrity for 5 years but after that rise to a top 3 club in the league? No thats looking through rose tinted glasses Coutihnominator!, what your looking at there is a secondary aspect of FSGs moneyball approach, they hope to develop these youngsters and then sell them on at a profit. They're not the brightest sparks around but they're not foolish enough to think players once developed (if ever developed) to top quality will hang around for 7 or 8 years, waiting to win things, or that our competitors won't snap them up before we ever see the promised land. That approach if continued will turn us into just another 'selling' club. Buy promising youngsters by all means but you also have to buy a critical mass of top quality PL ready players as well, or watch yourself being surpassed by the Spurs and Everton's of the world. If FSG persist with 'promising potentials' to the exclusion of top quality PL ready players, we're very unlikely to advance.
