Only criticism of Sturridge is that he was a bit selfish, but being on his hatrick, I guess that can be forgiven.

I was quite impressed with Borini today, he should have had a goal when he cut inside and hit the inside of the post with that rocket of a shot. Then great movement and positioning to get put through by Sturridge, just a shame the keeper saved it.

He has been world class for me and looks to be only getting better but makes me think how many players with potential like him are being wasted at big clubs like inter he seems far to good to have been sitting in there reserves i think he only played 28 games in 3 years for them but there loss is definitely our gain

And we only paid 8.2 million for him and 12 for Sturridge, those deals look bargains now is it 12 in 15 or 16 games now for Danny? Compare that to all that cash wasted on Carrol and Downing ..

His passing has that spark of creativity about it that marks out the great from the good, if he continues to develop like this he'll be one of our greatest ever signings, and Sturridge is shaping up very nicely as well, Brendan Rodgers might prove to have an eye for a player, as they say. I'm very keen to see who he brings in during the upcoming window.
