i dont think it matters who takes over..Ferguson leaving will be the downfall of united!! i seriously think no other manager in the world could win the comp with the team that ferguson has put together in the last few years. there is definitely world class players there, but its not a world class team!! if ferguson was manager of man city i don't think he would lose a game with the roster they have!
while all the rich clubs came and went the one constant was ManU and fergie!! it wont be the same without him.
All good things must come to an end! thankfully its ManU's time!!
I think there is too much hype here about Fergie leaving, I am more worried of our situation after such a season than theirs.
