I wouldn't say it's 'the worst in a long time'...it's not brilliant, but what they do have though is a good mix of experience and young talent. You look at people like Welbeck, Smalling, Jones, Hernandez, De Gea (who I think has massively improved in the 2nd half of the season)..they're all established international's under the age of 24. Most of our under-24's aren't anywhere near that standard.

Zaha arriving in the summer, maybe Lewandowski..they will still be a top side even after Fergie's gone.

maybe messi, maybe ronaldo, maybe, kompany, maybe, suarez, maybe falcao...........you can;t judge a sqwaud on who 'might' arrive!

ps - LOL @ zaha, the championship's 3rd best player.

in ur opinion.

feeling if moyes takes over there he will get top 4 easy enough. they had the best striker best centre midfield player and best centre half in the division . nothing wrong with that.

Of course not, but the point was more so that they will still be able to bankroll Lewandowski type signings, meaning they will always be one of the best teams in the world.

RE: Zaha's decent isn't he? Can't claim to have watched him that much this season, but for UTD to buy him for £10m, in January, he's got to have something. I can't recall that many UTD flops..compared to a lot of other teams anyway.

We'll just have to wait and see. There are only 2 people I can think of that would be able to continue AF's work to a similar level. One is currently at Chelsea and the other is on his way there. The former has no chance of being Utd boss with Fergie as a director.
Nope, Utd's era of dominance is at an end.

I'd add Barthez, Forlan, Anderson and Taibi to that list.

Yes all those signing are not the best , but the difference is fergie won leagues and cups so in the end it doesn't matter, its when managers spend millions and fail .

This is very very true...it doesn't matter if he wins titles. Something we have unfortunately not been able to do.

Keep up. We're not debating fergie's success. My point is that any other manager would have failed with those signings and most of the squads he has worked with.
