lol you'd swear he scored a maradona goal or something..fella is worth 11m and probably paid 50g a week..for which he should be able to kick a ball into a goal from 6 yards out in a game that is already over. ha ha ha. amen brother.

I agree with Marko here. The guy finished the goal well and I think he needs time. He's been injured for most of the season but when he has played, his movement has been good.
If you look at Hendersons second goal, if I'm not wrong it was Borini who almost got his head to the ball and distracted the keeper enough for the ball to end up in the back of the net!
There's far too much emphasis put on the transfer fee of the player (which i might add is agreed to by the teams and not the player himself) when people decide to write them off!
Give the guy a chance I say!

Exactly, the player has nothing to do with the fee paid. I think he performed well and his positioning is a big big attribute. We have complained for a long time that we lack a poacher, and never more so than last season when we hit the woodwork something like 3 million times, we could have really used a poacher to knock those rebounds in...I think we have finally got one. I jut hope he stays injury free now.

Time, time, time I never thought I would begin to hate that fooking word! Of course if you give someone time and training they will improve, but how much time would you wait? Considering in that TIME, Manu probably would have signed Falcao or Lewandowski or both! Can you see where I'm going with this.

Secondly, how much time has Borini actually had? How many games has he played? Is it fair to write him off after 10 games or so? You tell me, I don't demand instant success from new players, I do demand success, but it doesn't have to be instant.

Well I do believe that POSITIONING is one of the key criteria scouts and managers look at when observing players. It is also something they work on extensively in training, hence positioning must be a very important factor. Even more so for a poacher. SO yes, I believe postioning is a very important criteria when judging players. We could buy Falcao but what use would he be if he was constantly standing next to Reina...see what I mean..Positiong isn't just about being in the box, but about where in the box and when.. We could simplify every situation to the point where it becomes absurd discussing if you really want to.
