Not another thread on another Borini goal.

Steady lads, if we had did this every time he scored for us this season we would have....... maybe 2 threads.

What was the price per Carroll goal? Or Downing? Just asking cause Downing is putting in decent shifts now.... People were quick to write Lucas off too...let's not jump the gun with Borini.

Happy he's scored so quickly after returning from a couple of long injuries, but you hit the nail on the head here I think. He could easily become a 10-15 (all comps) a season striker, but no more. BR was probably relying on more than just our strikers scoring regularly, hence why he is looking at that kind of striker. Sturridge is the same.

I would imagine he will mainly be used in the cups/ when games are already won. Hopefully he does enough to impress that he pushes for PL starts. Would be great to have a selections of 3 decent strikers to choose from. It will mean they all up their game to try and push for a place, which can only be a good thing.

Outreach got a goal. Hooray. Let's give him a six year contract. Doesn't take much to get appreciated as a Liverpool player these days.

Really sad comments IMO. The guy hasn't even had a decent run of games and already you are all calling for his head. He could do an important job for us with 10-15 goals next season coming off the bench if he avoids injury.

Try and think back to what was said about Lucas...and not only Lucas. Too many players have been discarded based on a poor or injury plagued first season.
