Hi,
I just wanted to discuss Borini's goal against Newcastle. In a situation where most players would have opted to have a shot with their left foot Borini thought quickly and adjusted his body shape an position and shot with his right past the keeper.
I believe he showed what Rodgers sees in him. He thinks quick and adjusts easily. It could prove a great asset in the future. I think this goal will really help with his confidence and seeing what he did at Roma I think he could become a very useful player.

a toe jab in game well long won. in the games that mattered he has looked completely out of his depth and somewhat cowardly too.
never forget carra's disgust at him in that shocking fa cup exit. borini crying when the ball hit his face camera went to carra and he looked ready to murder him.

I don't think so, if you watch the replay you can clearly see him looking up and at that corner of the goal where he shot. If it was a panic reaction I believe he would have just swung his left foot at it which was clear to the ball and would have been easier....

I agree. One decent/lucky kick per season doesn't justify a £10 fee let alone a £10m fee!
