Funny how we are so fickle about some of our players. Lucas was dreadful then the best thing since sliced bread then awful again. Really?
Allen was great and then rubbish.
Both have had injuries.
Lucas was unfit soon after or at the start of Rodgers coming in.
Allen played whilst injured whilst Lucas was being nursed back in.
Neither is a genuine goal threat which is a bit of a problem especially in a side with one guy up front getting the goals for half the season.
However both will keep running like Henderson all game. The issue for me is playing them all together. Add Downing to that list.
