Faz parliament creates the law the judges rule on it. But parliament cannot rule on the law made by good old Oliver Cromwell.

if the person involved in the stafford hospital or any other criminal act is brought to court they will be judged by that , but in 89/90 the families didnt get that chance because if the the big fence put up by the government at the time , taylor said the police were 100% to blame , but the government didnt like it and chose to blank it out thinking it would go away , but we fought and still fight on , the HIP only gave the facts james jones never asked for criminal proccedings , but its likely because the government cant cover it up no more like it did 24 years ago. Taylor was a judge faz he was more powerful than the government the government cannot overrule a judge. Taylor also did not recommend criminal prosecutions as I have told you about ten times now but stan they did over rule taylor , they only took part of the report , taylor blamed the police 100% its up to the government to take actions after that , like dominic grieve did in sept/oct 2012 and i will praise the coalition for the great way they have dealt with the truth , cameron was great over it , but hillsbrough is similar to the saville enquiry into bloody sunday which was covered up until , when gordon brown had to give a government apology for that disgrace from the 70's .

All sorts are covered up faz under ALL governments in the uk but I am not sure it's indivdual governments because it happens under them all. I think it's part Masonic part public sector covering back and back stratching. The NHS the police local government all corrupt. In the case of hillsborough my own belief is it was Masonic and they concocted the story possibly with Taylor in tow because he ruled out evidence very early on three fifteen. Thatcher could not have done that unde our constitution a judge is more powerful than a prime minster. In any case I have read all thatchers biographies (have you?) and I do not believe she would do such a thing. She was very principled whatever you think of her polices.

The faimliies will focus on the evidence from the June report that's what the new enquiry will be based. But once they start to question people new things may come out. Margaret thatcher did what any prime minster would do rely on advisers yes they use judgement and question. Do I think they could have done more I like to think so but really that was fairly typical of the time and things are better now but not much look at Stafford hospital hundreds of people dying some so thirsty they drank out of vases and one Lad dialled 999 ( he later died) yet the guy in charge is still managing the NHS today in 2013". Had kinnock been in charge I am totally convinced the outcome would have been the same as proven by labours inactiion in the enquiry in hillsborough which came to nothing Funny enough Stan i could agree with some of your points there but really, since when did Thatcher rely on advisers? she advised them not the other way around. There lies the problem doesn't it if she only done what every other PM of that time would do then how can she ever be considered great? we cant have it all ways here. Was she that great, that unstoppable, that full of conviction that she would rely on her lackeys to find out the truth and believe what they told her?....I don't think so ,some say she was a great women, where was her womanly intuition? Myself i dont care who's in goverment i wouldnt trust anything any polition said or done they are all the same, its jobs for the boys. The very people that stabbed her in the back are now queing up to praise her but thats sheep for you

Well, if someone wants to lessen the emphasis on thatcher in ordere to not influence any impending or ongoing trial they would be best not starting multiple threads on the same subject???
If someone wanted to let law take its due process they wouldnt spout multiple threads surely?
Surely silence is golden ? Or the best way to instill objective rational decisons is to launch provocative threads on the subject. Besides which the British public don't often celebrate the death of a former politician.. Now according to thatcher fans we should not criticise her without polaroid evidence

She relied heavily on advisers like all PM.s.

Why did you start a thread entitled 'Labour's guilt'?
Was this to ensure that the upcoming or pending trial of other people (and not thatcher) is detached and objective?

stan do you think she would reveal a cover up in a book or books ?? stan the buck stops at her door good, bad or indifferent same goes for any PM , do you really think mrs thatcher a PM who gave the police everything new powers , massive pay rises virtally making the police a military force and i know police from then who are tories because thatcher made them powerful , do you really believe she would allow her police force to be shown to be bad , flawed ,incompetent ???
