Don't understand how you can say that Roy was better than Kenny. Kenny took over from Roy and with about the same team (except Suarez replacing Torres) improved immediately. Just check our points tally under Roy and then Kenny in the 2 halves of the same season. Nobody was saying then that we needed 2 seasons to see an improvement.

Can you see us getting into the champions league anytime soon kop prophet ?

I agree football changes and I think it will change for Liverpool with FSG all right no doubt about that. But not the way we all hope.

In roy's defence, he came in under H&G and wasn't given a great deal of time. The fans wanted him gone almost before he took his coat off - the majority acted no better than chelsea did towards benitez.
Kenny came in once the dust had settled and benefiited from a supportive board and fans that were largely behind his appoitnment. That's quite a difference.

Yes, because football is static - everything stays the same!

Things do change but we're up against it for a number of reasons....

1) our owners have already said that they will only spend money that they generate and aren't prepared to dip into their own pockets - that already puts as at a disadvantage to the top top clubs
2) there are 3 huge clubs with enormous wealth that WILL occupy 3 of the top 4 spots unless something drastic happens. (Utd, City & Chelsea)
3) Realistically, there is only 1 spot in the CL (preliminary round) up for grabs , so our objective must be to 'do something' that will leap frog us above everton, arsenal AND spurs. I can see us overtaking one of them on a semi-regular basis but we need to be above ALL three, ALL of the time, and recently we've struggled to even stay clear of swansea & west brom!
4) Unless english teams start doing better in the CL, then it won't be too long before the EPL loses it's 4th spot. If that happens, we are all stuffed!

There is a fifth and sixth.

Arsenal once they have paid for their ground and possibly got new owners are going to be up with Chelsea utd and city,

Spurs are getting a new ground.

Don't wish to sound like cool flames but frankly we have no chance unless FSG sell up and a rich owner comes in prepared to risk their own money

When Kenny came in, the improvement was very quick, if the team under Roy performed similarly, I don't think the fans would have reacted that way. I don't know about the board supporting any of the managers because it is H&G who brought in Roy, unless you know for sure it is pure speculation. Anyway both are gone and let's just agree to disagree.

How big would be the new Spurs ground, any idea?

No offense Stan but I think this is a particularly ridiculous comment!
