Reported in the last day or two that Allen has had a shoulder injury since October. If so I am guessing it's a rotator cuff and as someone who is going through the rehab at the moment on one it's no joke.
He is probably having injections on it but there is no way he can have any strength there for a midfielder it must be hell. BR says he needs surgery which would mean a large tear.
Surprised he is passed fit to play and it can only be slowing the healing process and would explain a lot in regard his form I would guess. As soon as BR mentioned it yesterday, a waft of 'bullsh!t' crept through my living room. Why hasn't it been mentioned before when everyone was saying how poor he'd been playing? And why was he still getting in the team/squad? BR's body language and NLP signage were all over the place and totally inconsistent. An educated analysis, based on how he was communicating, say's that Allen does have an injury but hasn't had it for as long as BR was making out.

So... pure speculation Carheex?
I know a few fans remain unconvinced about BR and that's fair enough. But you can't blame the manager for everything that goes wrong and give him absolutely no credit when things go right - that's illogical and unfair. Yes, Spurs gifted us the 2nd goal... or you can say that Enrique's pressure forced the player to try a stupid backpass... and it's the manager that tightens the pressure screw from the bench with instructions. BR knew that Spurs would tire faster after their late midweek Euro game and I thought his substitutions came with that in mind. He deserves some credit for the way we've improved in recent weeks... whether the grouches on this site deem to give it or not! Careful with those full stops, KP - redordead will be onto you!!

No, that's actually the correct way to use an elipsis.

Well, redordead needs to go and educate himself before attempting to correct people and look foolish. It's called an ellipses... which can be used to indicate an unfinished thought... or a slightly longer pause in a train of thought. It can be a trailing off... Or it can represent a word omission... or an awkward silence. One can also use a triple dot glyph or an em dash if they chose to - all are perfectly permissible in standard prose. Indeed. I have no problems with correctly used elipses. The EMP was using two periods at the end of a complete sentence, which looked silly and gave me something to poke fun at EMP about. Nothing wrong with KP's prose.

That sounds like a job for superman.
