He's doing really well at the hammers actually. Gotten several match winning assists and already scored as many goals as he did with us.

So why could he not do it for us ?

Here's my question

Henderson downing Enrique at the beginning of the season were almost non entities and were on their way out of this club. Despite the club (but really the fans who pay the money) spending huge money to acquire them.

Then following threats from Rodgers they turn into players who are four times as good as they were months previously. Credit to Rodgers for this.

But what I cannot understand is how this situation can be? Were they deliberately not trying and why? How can a professional athlete earning £50k plus a week have to be motivated in such a way to perform. And how many others are deliberately playing under their optimum right now?

Am I being unfair ? Is there something I am not understanding ? Given we fans are playing through the nose to pay for these buggers I we should expect everyone.of them to apply themselves but questions need to be asked why these three are so dramatically different.
