If we are getting to the point were we cannot crack a joke anymore well then it will be a poorer site for that.

We don't contact anyone. We review every report. If we don't appear to take action it's because there isn't enough to get the person on so we add them to a watch list and wait for such an opportunity.

After moderating forums for more than 15 years I know the difference between banter and a difference of opinions to goading, baiting and cliques.

So generically it's just cool. But he is keeping to the rules and he does talk sense most of the time, But he can annoy myself included when he accused me of being an armchair fan after damn near 50 years of going tto anfield.

But that's life and I think what people need to do is leave off cools back and if you don't agree with what he says then ignore him. And all will be well. In defence of cool, I will say this any forum needs controversy and interest otherwise people get bored. I have noticed in the periods he is banned the forum is very slow people like to argue on forums it's. a fact of life. But what we have to do is stop the insults and if you can't do that say nowt

That's my advice.

Exactly. Every single post cools makes is monitored. Why? Because lots of people complain about him. However, I will never remove someone who has different opinions to a majority for example. I am yet to see any of his posts since I have been monitoring that break any rules.

If he is a WUM and people are falling for it by responding with abuse, that's their problem.

It's good to have people with different opinions.

Does it really matter if he is or isn't? Who cares? I know I don't. He engages in debate and as yet I haven't seen anything worthy of a ban. I read all of his posts. If he is a supporter of another team, big deal. People can either debate with him or ignore him smile
