mods... please can we have a separate section for threads which have nothing to do with LFC.
I come here for LFC stuff. When I look at the football thread list I generally like to see threads about LFC and people associted with LFC. Whether it's true or not, I don't like my Saturday morning or any other time being spoilt be reading that somone who has no association with LFC is the greatest this that or the other.
The term greatest is always subjective so no one can ever be wrong. So in my opinion, the gretest premiership player ever is Stevie G and the greatest pmremiership manager ever is Monsignor, soon to be his holiness, the ex-LFC, interim Chelsea, possibly future LFC again..... drum rolls...
so there!
'I was only in the game for the love of football - and I wanted to bring back happiness to the people of Liverpool.' Bill Shankly
'We should have made a signing or two in the last couple of transfer windows.' Vish

None sense there is not enough material just on LFC we already do the same subjects to death 50 times over Stan, my comments were a bit toungue in cheek and intentionally OTT, but i honestly come here for all things LFC. Yes, I'm biased... but I can go to general football sites, or speak to mates who support other clubs about neutral subjects. I don't do drugs, not even tobacco or alcohol, so koptalk is my vice where I come to read that LFC is the greatest club in the world, and LFC players are the greatest players ever, and LFC managers are ... etc. I'm supposed to feel good after I've been here... like others feel when they've had a spliff I guess. So all I'm asking is that please can this type of thread have another section. I don't like seeing the threads list with the name Ryan Giggs staring at me. Get my drift ?

Get my drift ? think its very hard if you want to come on to any Liverpool forum and feel good, the problem is this is the worst time to be a Liverpool supporter since they were in the old second division before Shanks took over, so its very hard to be positive when we are in such poor state both on and off the pitch with no real hope on the horizon that it is going to get better...

I think I disagree. Sometimes when things come too easy or if things are handed to you on a plate it's not so much fun. Those who supported LFC at the time Shanks took over and were there for the glory days probably had the best feeling as they saw and experienced the hard work as well as the fruits of that labour. The next generation to experience, though on a lesser scale, was the one that started with Roy Evans. His team was young and good to watch but just not up to the mark at the top level. But we saw Houllier build on it and then Rafa put the icing on the cake with the CL success, ranked as no.1 in Europe and just missing out on the cherry on the top. Now we're back to square one again it seems, so it's a great time to be an LFC fan. We can be involved and see all the hardwork and setbacks that will make the success taste all the more sweeter when it arrives.

We can be involved and see all the hardwork and setbacks that will make the success taste all the more sweeter when it arrives. how do you mean still good to be a Liverpool fan, no Leagues in nearly a quarter of a century, one European cup in coming up to thirty years, Manchester United now the greatest team in the history of English football, no longer the record league winners, Everton now the dominent force on Merseyside, owners who have turned the Club into a franchise, our best players now get taken from us by bigger clubs, no real money on the horizon to get us out of this prediciment. I just think Liverpool in 2013 in not in a good place myself am sure people will disagree with some of these things which is fine, just think the negatives out weigh the positives at this present moment in our history...
