I used to laugh at Chelsea fans paying 50 quid a pop for European matches - that was back in 2006 / 07 I think. At the same time we payed 30 quid give or take - what the hell has gone on since to warrant such a hike???

I stopped feeding the cash cow years ago (hahaaa... guess I'm the reason for the hike laugh ) I haven't bought kits or scarves for years now, I go to a game once every few years as the atmosphere is flat, it's a pain in the ar5e getting in and out of Anfield (I used to go to the mid week matches, when I did go) Much rather go to a pub and put my money behind the bar than line the pockets of Sky / Owners / over paid players ect.

Football has reached saturation point for me. I'll watch the matches and read the daily rags, but I don't really care anymore... the game is a pale comparison of it's former self frown

Yes good points mike. I echo your feelings on anfield it isn't really a pleasurable experience anymore. The parking s a nightmare with the city council on your back and towing away any car parked where it shoud not be. It's aggressive and you feel a criminal just going there. The ground was once magnificent but now frankly it's a dump. There is no atmosphere at all these days and in the stadium the announcer alternates between accusing you of being a racist and exorting you to buy club merchandise robby fowler tea cosy just £19.99. Vist online or the club stores all in your face all the time. And the quality of the team speaks for itself.

Harriods prices nettlo product offering.

why is it that americans are always the spoilers.
High ticket prices and "in your face" advertising is pure us of a crap.
they never have and never will understand the game of football, soccer maybe but football, nah.
Just look at the Arse's, Villa and others and see what I mean.

Not on here please. I respect everyone's views but this is a football forum and such debates will only create problems for us. Thanks.

Did I read somewhere last week before the Arsenal Bayern game that some Bayern season tickets are cheaper than tickets for that game?
