No because the money will simply be used to pay off the massive debts the Americans have built up.
It would be the end of us as a club wanting to compete and win things until the Yanks go.
And for someone wanting to buy the club we lose one of our best assets for the next 5 years, at least...

No,simply because i doubt the 100 mil gained would be made available for transfers. Definately, so definately NOT.

100 mil is alot but i would hate to see torres go. and could you imagine him coming back to anfield and scoring against us. not even worth thinking about.
plus if torres goes the yanks would probably cash in then sell

No because you wouldn't be able to get someone in that can do what he does, even with 10 mil to spend. The yanks would probably use the maoney to pay off debt anyway.

Yes, of course they would, but as I said, that still misses the point, which is the yanks are going to use 200m of the club's money and FUTURE money to pay off the debt. They will do this over 25 years or over 10 years or over whatever time period, but they will use the clubs money whether they sell torres or not.
That means less money for transfers, players, stadium over the next 25 years, 10 years whatever.
Since they are going to do that anyway, it is better to clear the debt, and an insane offer like 100m couldn't be turned down.
refarendum do we really know what these C*unts are thinking exactly.i mean settling this financial slump at the club? No so its better to stick to whats been ours assumption lately that we wont get even one tenth of the sale money.

I see what you are saying and to some point I kind of agree with you, what with their track record, but if they intend to sell the club for a profit, it wouldn't be worth nearly as much as it would if we were to keep our best players. Either way, it could only happen if Torres wanted to go and he has already said he will not move to another Prem club. If he goes it will be back to Spain.

I'll only sell him for a new stadium + David Villa!
