He was a monster for us before his injury. Sad that he's a pale shadow of himself before that. Hope he can come back to his best soon.

He was never a "monster". There were games when he was very good but games when he was also very bad. Terribly inconsistent, despite improving from when he first signed for us. People have completely misremembered him in his absence clinging on to the hope that his return would revitalise us. He's a decent player to have in the squad - nothing more.

You lot are very very mistaken....and don't put the goals we conceded down to Lucas but rather down to BR's ineptitude and inability to change formation and defend a 2-0 lead away to arsenal....

Going off on a tangent, Tottenham have confirmed that Tom Huddlestone is in talks with Fulham after the club made a bid of £5 million for his services.

Huddlestone is a very good player, has years of proven EPL experience yet was only 26 last month, and would bring a much needed physical presence to our midfield. How come Brendan is not trying to hijack the deal? Compare it with £15 million for Joe Allen, £20 million each for Downing and Henderson... and weep. I'd also select him over Lucas every time.

I don't think anyone's blaming him solely for the result.

The blame lies on all the team as a whole for not defending as a unit, we just collapsed under intense pressure.
