I watch alot of football around the world. For the past 5 odd years. Ive been travelling around the world watching players from England, Brazil, Spain, Portugal, France & all around Asia.

Im not disappointed regarding us not getting Silva, as I find him hit and miss. We have Yossi who is so similar to Silva.

Juan Manuel Mata from Valencia is a player to watch out for. Talented little player, similar to Silva in the way he plays.

I like Maxi Rodriguez from Al.Madrid.

Valencia from Wigan, I find him an average player who couldnt deal with the pressure at Liverpool.

I just dont know any realistic wingers available. Price wise and quality. Who would you like at our club?

To be honest, we should have shelled out for Dani Alves when we had the chance!

I know it's not realistic, but I've been loving watching Ashley Young this season. Granted, he's got tired and gone off the boil recently - but he's had a great season. Hopefully Babel will start producing like that. He was showing signs in the game against Real Madrid.

As for realistic targets - I want Silva. Number one priority.

I'm on record that if this were fantasy football and Liverpool could spend £30-£35 million on one player in the summer, it would be Ribery, i think he is EXACTLY what Liverpool need.

and whisper it quietly because i'm not the biggest fan of the massive headed mong, but i'd also be keeping an eye on Joe Cole, he would be another awesome signing, however unlikely that Chelsea would sell him

I personally wanted Silva. Regardless of what I said previously that he is 'hit and miss'. Fantastic player.

Joe cole. Thats a no no. He would never come to us.

Stuart Downing? If Middlesborough get relegated then he must be someone to consider.

I still think Rafa is going to buy Gareth Barry.

Ribery would be class.

Not sure about Downing, Rafa liks his wingers to be able to play on both sides and Downing is very one-footed.

Can't see how Downing would improve our squad, don't think he's better than riera or benayoun...

Ribery would be a fantastic signing but we will never have the money to buy him, (as long as the americans are here)...

So i still believe that silva is the most realistic target and if we can't get him we will go after antonio valencia,(not sure if he could make it at liverpool)...

Lennon would of been perfect, but he has signed a new contract with Spurs.

Not alot of available wingers in the market, and for that reason, Rafa will go for Barry. We need more Left footed players in our squad. I just cannot see Barry on the left wing.

People are saying we can't afford Ribery, but we don't know how high the price for Silva will be. In the last transfer market Valencia valued both Villa and Silva at 130 million. We won't be buying anyone at stupid prices.

I just hope whoever we sign turns out to be as good as Torres. I guess we will just have to trust Rafa makes the right choices. At least now with Parry gone, he won't miss out on his main targets because of all the stuffing around.

Also, on the Ashley Cole front.......NO THANKS! He's a dog and all he does every game is whinge about everything that doesn't go his way. The Chavs can keep him.

I would have loved to see Silva at Anfield, but i'm please that Raffa has ruled out the move as Valencia is asking too much.

This really shows that even if Raffa has control over transfer, he'll not pay over the odd for anyone.
