football at anfield is miles better than the utter dross we have been served up at home for years , yes he seems to have improved henderson, downing, brad jones and enrique , plus even suarez is a much better goalscorer under brendan , ok some result havent been great , but the majority have but thats what a team from such a low base does win and lose , now hopefully the improvement will continue , you know we had all the utter nonsense from certain poster talking of the championship and bring back chelsea's manager , well no chance of that and liverpool as io said all season will finish 6th to 9th hopefully 6th , but after years of turmoil with previous managers it might settle down and it should improve , stay in the F.A.Cup and UEFA Cup as long as possible and the season could be good .

I would be happy with either one of those cups and a 6th place finish, but I still think 4th or 5th are possible. 5th and the UEFA cup, and I would be chuffed to bits.

I think a Liverpool manager should try to win every game and not play weak teams, why he does that I will never know, we should be able to play strong teams and still finish 7th anyway, surely thats not asking for too much...

We're in the running for two cups, aren't we? We played younger players in the early stages because we were struggling in the league, but who's to say Rodgers won't take it more seriously now that we're at the later stages?

Contradicting yourself yet again. You panned BR earlier in the season for playing weak teams in Europe before games against the Top 4 saying it wouldn't matter to our season if we lost those games. Now you are condemning him for not trying to win EVERY game. You're consistent, I will give you that. Consistently erratic.

Mixed feelings so far. Our position in the league suggests he has been poor however I think it's clear to see the potential in this team. His signings have been dreadful so far. Sturridge seems to be his only decent signing but he's been prepared to play young players and I think he'll reap the rewards in a couple of years when they hit their peak.
No denying we are playing good football and it seems he's realised playing 433 with 2 wingers who never get in the box isn't going to work. Seems like an intelligent bloke so I think he'll learn from his mistakes n the transfer market

OK so now you think a Liverpool manager should try to win every game but it's not important if we lose to the Top 4.
Never has the term mixed signals been more appropriate.
You are a funny man.

what part dont you get, I have said we should always play our strongest team but for me I dont think results against the big four Clubs will define our season or effect where we are going to finish in the league which i think will be 7th or 8th. I would go as far as to say, the Cup games are more important than League games because they are are only chance of success. I see Liverpool under Rodgers as a dead Club, I will explain what I mean, I think in the league you have your top 5 all chasing those Champions League places and you then have your botton 7 or 8 clubs all hoping to avoid relegation after that you have your remaining dead clubs which wont get champions League and they wont get relegated, they just plod along in places 8th to about 11th or 12th every season, the worst thing for us is we now have a manager who does'nt even take cups serious so we dont even have Cup success to try to look forward to as he sees them as a hindrance in trying to get a top 7 place.
