We did ok second half against utd but really they were a level above us you cud see that and of course our general inconsistency over the season.

I wonder where you see our problems? Everywhere?

Defence?
Midfield?
Attack?

For me although ere much stronger now in attack I feel there is still room for one more really top class striker but this is less of a priority now as against our midfield its now looking the area in need of much investment, Defence we need a top class centre back. A lot to do yet I think

We need a #10 and a #7. That's 2 important positions which need filling.

If nothing else, we need a top attacking midfielder. We have 3 senior strikers on the books now, let's see how they perform. We need someone to unlock defenses. Maybe a left back with enrique hurt. CB is not my biggest concern.

skrtel and agger good defender individually not a good partnership lucas looks like he is miles off the pace , i know people hate joe allen , because he is now getting personal abuse from some , but he was better today in the second half and i think he is ok and that my opinion on the lad , sturridge is clearly a good player nice touch and looks a goalscorer , and hopefully with a bit of pressure off borini he might improve .

Is Suarez not number 7?

It's good to see Sturridge doing well. 2 in 2 is a good start. A true world class striker would still be good though.

A play maker (Sneijder?) would be good and maybe another DM too. A proper big, strong CB would be good too so we don't get bullied by the likes of Stoke next time.

to be fair, i thought Shelvey should've played today and Sturridge should've started, Allen i'm afraid isn't doing well for me recently, it's a major step up from Swansea no disrespect towards Swansea. I'd like Sneijder in the squad as it's experience, the only thing i'm concerned about is the wages. Anyway back to the topic at hand Lucas is back, therefore we've our defensive midfield sorted i think we do need an experienced central midfielder, to help nurture these youngsters along such as, Sterling, Suso, Wisdom, Borini ETC i'm sure we need a left wing back and put Enrique as a winger because of his attacking ability

whoever we sign no doubt the will be young and not ready as is the transfer policy now.

we clearly lack muscle in a few positions. diame be nice but too old for us at aged 25.

All that team needs is a souness /roy keane type player, but a good one , not shelvey hes first division class, too many people go hiding
allens signing is looking more and more ridiculous each match

maybe diame has a younger brother who we can develop.
