No sh1t,we have been replacing good players with crap ones for 20 years. What's worse is that the crappy replacements have cost more and are on bigger contracts. When was our club ever run well? We could have won so much more than we have.

All our big players signed long contracts this summer, along with our top youngsters.
Suarez, Agger, Skrtel, Sterling, Suso, Wisdom etc
Agger 25m??? Didn't happen, would have if we were a selling club??!!!
Where's the problem???? Sometimes I think our fans go out of their way to find something that isn't there yet to be upset with!!!!
That's assuming the good old newspaper were telling the truth.... No, if we had of sold him or anyone we'd be a selling club. all our top players signed contracts. What the papers say are irrelevant

What the papers say are irrelevant I believe he was pointing out that your point on us not selling Agger may not be valid, as it was only the papers that were reporting the possibility of a transfer, when it is quite possible that no one was in for him, so naturally he'd sign anyway.

So if that's what he did mean by it, what has it got to do with us becoming a selling club??? We either are or we're not. If we didn't sell our players .. we're not, if we have sold players, could ague we might be going that way. The papers and possible reasons for contracts being signed is irrelevant. To say we haven't sold players, but still try put forward an augment that we are a selling club, by coming up with rubbish like "Agger only signed because he'd no choice, City didn't want him" is pointless....and irrelevant to the original post! Top players sold = 0 I'll moan when it starts going that way, not sooner ... I'll leave that particular expertise to the rest of you!!

How many players sign contracts and never fulfil the contract. Fans are allowed to have their own opinions and not go with the grain all the time. We can for sea and predict without issue. End of

Nobody's making anything up. I simply asked a question in my post. Maybe read it properly, I actually said are we a selling club and I was pointing out that that is a danger in the future. You want to think everything is rosy under fsg? Good for you.

You could say that Utd are a selling club because they sold one of their best ever players for £80m as he was reaching his prime. We sold Torres, one of our best ever strikers as he was reaching his prime so maybe we're already a selling club. Spurs sold Modric, Arsenal sold RVP, Barcelona sold Figo, Juventus sold Zidane, Barcelona sold Ronaldo, Milan sold Kaka etc etc..........ALL clubs sell top players.

No sh1t,we have been replacing good players with crap ones for 20 years. Torres with Suarez Hypia hencheoz with skrtel & agger Mascherano with Lucas Etc etc just off the top of my head Not all buys have been bad.

Fair point but you have to retain a portion of your better players if you can. When you sell a young player you've developed for 3-4 year's it's like losing one of your kids.
