Borini said himself that he's a late starter.. Normally kicks on in the later half of the Season...
With Sturridge upfront ahead of him in the pecking order could be the perfect motivation for him...Who knows we might even have a striker on the bench for the first time all season.

And we still signed him?!?!? Apart from it sounding like an excuse to cover poor performances, why would we sign someone who can only give us half a season? What a load of old pony!

The guy had 5 starts. I think we need to give him more time than that. He got himself into some good positions too, just needs to get up with the pace. Did well at Roma.

He;s got himself in good positions, meaning, that if he continues doing that, then you would hope that he starts hitting them in.

I think he played a total of 11 games and got like 1 goal in the europa if I recall.
Borini reminds me alot of Kuyt. Who turned into a fans favourite even though he might not have scored alot when he did mattered.
He would give us an option coming off the bench at the least. But could also form a partnership with Suarez and Sturrdige up front.
Falcao he most certainly is not but he can still do a job for us. Not sure what his goal ratio is over his career but if he's a 1 in 3 like Sturridge that I'd be happy with that.
Feel for the guy really never really settled into a team and has been moved about quite a bit for such a young guy.
Hopefully he will settle here and put in a shift when required.
