By the way, has anybody mentioned Roy Carroll scooping the ball from a foot and a half behind the line against Spurs a few years back?

Or Phil Neville when he handballed on the line from Lucas Leiva's shot in the last minute of the derby a few years back?

Were either of those players villified and called cheats?

agreeing and disagreeing isnt that what a forum is about ??? i cant stand the way the forum has been about chelsea and there manager so we debate it i put my view across some agree some disagree .

exactly he handled the ball and got away with it and scored liverpool got the luck in that game.

First time in a long time we got some luck on our side and some of our so called suppoters rant on about what a cheat he is!! Disgraceful in my opinion!

Some were never off it, so an incident like this just has them in their element.

You get the point, some players will do anything to win, it's cheating, but it's also instinct. Funny thing is, some of these look more deliberate than what Suarez did.

Would anyone mind if he scored a hatrick of handball goals away at the weekend? I wouldn't! Suarez gets paid to score goals, and so he does...Some players cheat like this, some like that...either way...they all cheat in one way or another..and football would be pretty sterile if they didn't.

Like this it adds controversy and spices things up! I don't want Luis's hunger for goals to go away, I don't want him to change in any way!

Listen I accept all players try to cheat and get away with stuff, I also accept that any teams fans welcome any dodgy decisions going there way, the thing I find hard to agree with is fans saying there player in not horrible or a cheat when he obviously is and also our fans having a go at your John Terry, Ashley Cole, Joey Barton, Gareth Bale or Ashley Young who are all controversial characters in there own way exactly like Suarez, this is all I am saying, you either condemn that sort of player within the Game or you support those types, can't just back a player coz he happens to be playing for us...
