Now West ham have signed a striker and are rumoured to be signing Chamakh on loan, I fear that Andy Carroll will not be permanently signed at the end of the season by West Ham.

Only Newcastle (who have lost Ba) seems a reasonable alternative for Carroll.

I fear we are going to have a real battle getting rid of this player from Anfield.

Or failing that he comes back to anfield as 4th choice striker.

Either way we are in a bit of bother with this one frown

Who have West Ham signed? I've heard about the Chamakh loan as well.. Trouble is even if we did get him back, He can't play for anyone else due to the 3 club in 1 season rule..

This is going to be another Aquillani / Cole TAKE 3

I think the geordies would take him back if Wham come to their senses but i thought they had to buy if they managed to stay up,or was this just a rumour?

I would have him back for the last 5 months of the Season.

It's not worked out for him at WestHam. He's got like 1 goal I think.

Trouble is BR won't play him and we can't loan / sell him due to third club rule...

You never know the other Dalglish signings have turned a corner. Having a fit and hungry Carroll might be a good thing.

Dont get me wrong I would rather he stayed at WH and then was sold. But first it was Enrique then Hendo now to a degree Downing who have turned a corner could it be Carroll next? Doubtful I know but stranger things have happened.

Even if we did have him back and used as a sub for the last 10 mins or so and got us a couple of goals from off the bench that can only be a good thing. When was the last time we had a goal threat on the bench?

I think that wham have first refusal at a pre-agreed price if they stay up. I'm certain that they don't have to buy him.
