totaly agree with you there, those idiots on the Kop have a cheek, they claim to support Hillsborough yet blatenly disregard the reason all seated stadium was introduced by continuing to stand up. I personally would'nt put nets up behind the Kop I would just close it until they learn to obey the laws and respect Hillsborough more..
i think joe is right because standing in a seated area is the start of bad and for me selfish behaviour , that has lead on to coin throwning the nonsense of racist abuse its going back to the 70's which is bad not just at liverpool but all teams, and for me it must start with sitting down in a seat you have probably paid anything up to £50 and above for.

I've been forced to stand at games myself Faz, because of the fools standing in front of me standing up and refusing to sit down. However it's a bit of a stretch to associate them with what happened at Hillsborough and those who throw coins at players and ref's. I don't accept the connection and I don't think it's justified, after all didn't the police and those responsible for Hillsborough do just that...blame the fans?

I don't think its as black and white as that annefield. For example when drunken fans forced their way through in athens 2007 and created chaos with many fans with genuine tickets not getting entrance to the game or in some cases being attacked for their tickets. Had their been deaths would that have been the fault of fans or the authorities for not organising things. The answer is probably a bit of both. We all have a responsibility and standing up or throwing a coin is the road to worse things.

no but they are linked. they are both in breach of the stadium rules just that one is worse than the other. once people see one person standing up then its acceptable for others and fosters bad behaviour which leads to other things.

Dont see the real problem with standing up to be honest. Stand, sit, lie, crouch.. whatever just watch the game and support the team. Look at you lot arguing over something that wouldn't of came up had it not been for that dope Rio Ferdinand move on niggggaz he's a tool and what was he doing trying to header a pound coin anyway who does that in the modern game!!???

Worse still, people ACTUALLY agree with him crazy

Anyone who thinks that standing in an all seater will lead to coin throwing / another crush needs their heads examining.

Faz, Joe and who ever else it was who agreed, need to have a good long talk with themselves..

Honest to bloody god.
