Not defending Rafa his signings have been very mixed. But when we signed Babel he was "the top" or one of the top prospects in dutch football potentially could have been a world class player. He is an idiot a lot of young men are. Most though grow up, unfortunetly nature has not followed its normal course with this man who is destined forever to be a child. Hard to blame Rafa for that a young player is always a gamble to an extent.

rubbish - no one wanted him ..... he was watched by every top club in europe and every single club looked at him and decided against him coz he was crap .... the only thing he has in his favour is pace

he was a promising young player and any decent manager would have brought him on to the next stage of his career. unfortunately babel was daft enough to sign for rafa benitez and his career has been set back years.

What an idiot..Our views on Babel are clear...he is not wanted here...what he posted on Tweets says it all. Without the right attitude, i dont think he will get far in life let alone football.

He's currently an average player with dare i say it - potential. He's been [oops] poorly man managed by Rafa as have so many before him. We'll get rid n he'll go on t do an ok job somewhere else under a better man manager.
