redordead13 1st Team Squad Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 8,564 Atlanta, Georgia	Exactly, which is why I think Gerrard would be excellent at this role. His defensive game is fading, but his technique is still good. Put him up front and let him take some shots. We know he can score goals.

Don't understand why we did not sort out this problem last summer, a killer centre forward should have been our first and foremost priority, therefore first and most valuable signing. Don't think that Dempsey was the target if any, we needed (still need) a proven 20+ striker every season. Hopefully this can be sorted this Jan.

Dempsey had 1 really good season as an AM not as a #9 Striker. Maybe you could class him as a #10 at best. What if Suarez is our 20 Goals a Season man? Why are the other Players not stepping up? We need midfielders / wingers who will provide 10-15 goals and about 3 of them.
