havent voted for any cause SG will be captain until the end of next season and then shelvey in my opinion if he keeps progressing will take it over Maybe go for the 'other' option then?
I don't know if I could see Shelvey being a Liverpool captain. But then, some would have said the same about Lucas a few years ago. you do like your other option bit dont ya? like to cover for any eventualitys Has to be done - not that it stops fussy little feckers such as yourself trying to pick faults!

Suarez did well as Ajax's captain, now that I think about it. He is one of our leaders, although he has some flaws. He would be the kind stevie used to be, the kind who'd bail us out and save us.

There are different types of captain; some are more vocal and try to motivate whilst others are like gerrard and simply lead by example. That said, I'm not really bothered who the captain is but it should really be someone that isn't in & out of the team through injury/suspensions/rotation.

really i'm the only one who voted for reina? well, i would be ok with agger or lucas. i would pick agger overall but he's injured too much. but hopefully those days are behind him.

England Under 21 captain so has the experience and pedigree to do well in that role!

I wouldnt go with Reina as from GK he can only really marshall the defence which he does already so not much point. I'd keep the captaincy in the CM position maybe Lucas, Shelvey or Dagger. Maybe Joe Allen in a couple of years depends how he progresses.
