Martin O'Neill is the only man for the job, If we want to see free flowing attacking football with two wide men, THIS IS THE MAN

On the other hand if we want tactical, defence minded games go for the likes of Hiddink, Jose or any other foreign manager.

P.S With O'Neill the prem would be first not second on the important list

o'neill does not play free flowing attacking footie ...... at least get your facts straight - he has two tactics - lump it into the corners for the pacy widemen to chase or lump it down the middle for a big man and try and pick up the pieces .... nothing free flowing or good about it

that's preposterous..o neill plays with wingers that get to the byline.villa have the most crosses from any team..i will concede he likes to play a target man and he does use him but to suggest he is anything like rafa is a disgrace. o neill tries to win games-rafa tries not to lose them..there is a world of difference

read what i said about him earlier emp - his footie is long ball stuff and not good to watch .... we need and deserve much better

The news page is saying that Hughes is being sonded out. I really do hope not. This is my concern with those two tw@ts in charge. We will end up with some tool of a manager and we'll be back to square one again all bitching about the new manager.
