I lost respect for him when he joined Chelsea even though he was quoted a few years ago when he was linked with Chelsea saying that he wouldn't join them Perhaps he decided that it was time to take that job after he was overlooked byFSG and not approached, even though a large number of fans was calling for him to come back. perhaps he has a point to prove and personally I hope he wins everything possible with them in his time there, as I would also like to see the look on peoples faces who said he was a poor manager and that he destroyed Inter and so on....GO on Rafa, show 'em what you're made of. No matter how well he does over there, he still DESTROYED Inter.

Voted no. I like him and if he came back would welcome him but I'd prefer to look forward than back even if it means going through a few managers to find the right one.

Your knowledge of how football management, football clubs and everything that influences a football clubs functioning in general, work is obviously not quite as good as you think it is if you honestly believe Rafa destroyed inter.
If you don't honestly belies it, then you are just a troll looking for a reaction. Either way, your opinion will not sway mine. I do however think it is disrespectful to te man to say he destroyed a football club based upon no evidence whatsoever and not taking circumstances into account, also it is quite childish and irresponsible to do so.

How? 2 months before Rafa was installed as Inter's manager Jose Mourinho had just won the Champions League, Italian cup and Serie À with an Inter side who looked unbeatable I remember there quarter (maybe semi) final against Barcelona that year they shut up shop and Barca didn't do anything at all. Come forward 5 months and theree 15th in Serie A, out of the Italian cup and out of the Champions League, who's fault was it then?

perhaps it was an ageing side that had peaked under mourinho and had lost its hunger. rafas brief was to rebuild, but he didnt get the funds.

I think the point most people miss when people defend Rafa on here is that they are purely defending his time here regardless of what happened at Inter. That's how it is for me anyway
