No offence Maxi but I'm honestly not sure if you're being sincere or just arguing for arguments sake.

Are you seriously trying to tell us that the 'contact' in that video was enough to send the player sprawling all of the ground in pain? Because it clearly wasn't and arguing 'how do we know, we didn't feel it' is a weak argument as it's as plain as the nose on your face that it wasn't.

As I said already, play acting in order to influence the referee in booking/sending another player off is cheating, surely you cannot deny that?

You said that justice would be the player being booked and I totally agree, that would be much more fitting justice but this is a case of poetic justice for me.

If somebody steals your car, justice would be for them to be caught by the police and put in prison but if somebody then stole his car, I'm sure you'd see the poetic justice in that (weird analogy I know, but it works!).

I genuinely don't see how you think that anyone should score a goal like this in any circumstances. Although its not explicitly written as a rule in the game, it is a recognised custom and was blatantly abused by Adriano in this case.

Do you think the actions of one player, in this case feigning injury, justifies a whole team being punished?

My whole argument has been regardless of what one player did, even though there was contact, what Adriano did shouldn't be applauded. It was a disgraceful act of unsportsmanlike conduct

Then your argument doesn't make sense to me. You seem to be ignoring the fact that influencing the referee in order to get a player booked/sent off is cheating and that actually is explicitly written as a rule in the game.

So you seem to think it's worse to break a recognised custom than breaking an actual specific rule within the game, is that correct?

disgraceful like suarez hand of god, right ?
couldnt care less about this goal. divers and cheats should be in a theatre, not on a football pitch.

I am not ignoring that fact. They are two completely separate things.

I think to score a goal like that is on the same level as diving for a penalty or diving when theres no contact feigning injury. I don't think committing one allows the other though and this is where we wildly differ

I also don't agree with your perception that there was minimal contact having watched it a few times

I think scoring a goal like this is akin to stabbing someone on the back when no one is looking. Low life action.

Widely

There was no contact whatsoever over than a malicious and deliberate run towards the player whose team went on to score the goal, to make it look as if the player who was rolling around on the floor faking injury had been hit by a car. Outrageous behaviour.

Imagine the hypocrites on here if it were suarez who scored that goal in the european cup final (fat chance), it would be oh that naughty boy suarez never mind who cares we won the european cup!
