Can we swap Henderson for him?

I'd expect we'd get Torres + a lump sum for Henderson

Y'know what, fvck it, I'd even say have Joe Cole as well.

Not to mention young Raheem! I think if we could get Walcott and Torres for £25m, it'd be good business. Whether either will be available and/or willing to come to the club is another matter (although each have their own fondness for the club) - that's before we even start looking at asking prices their clubs would want.

In terms of forward options, I think those 2 would be sufficient. Suarez, Torres, Sterling, Walcott, Assaidi, Suso, would be a good array of attacking options - with Yesil and Morgan on the outskirts as well. I think 2 attackers added would be plenty. If there are any addition funds (not that I'm saying we'll even have that much to spend!) then we could focus on other areas. that may need strengthening.

Where would young Walcott be playing though in the Suarez-Torres-Walcott, doesn't he want to be the central striker? Torres if he finds his old form would be the choice for me with Suarez given more of a free roaming role but Walcott on the wing.

Very valid point mate, and I think that may ultimately be the biggest stumbling block in the way of him joining us. Suarez is more than capable of playing wing-forward, but given a front 3 of Sterling, Suarez and Walcott, you'd assume Suarez would be the leading candidate to play central, not Walcott. I think the offer of a CF role could be enough to lure Walcott to his boyhood team, but I doubt he'd come if he wasn't given that assurance.

I'm pretty sure that BR has put an emphasis on his forwards being interchangeable, so all 3 at some point during the game would play either wide or central. That should appease Walcott on the positional side of things at least.

I do think the pair would cost a bit more than £25M mind, what would you guys value each of them seperately as?

I wouldn't want to pay anything over 8-10 mil for Torres to be honest and would take a number of strikers ahead of him at this point.

Walcott could probably be got for in and around the same price although it depends on what Wenger wants to do with him and whether he is willing to let him go for a free in the summer or not. If he's not, I reckon anywhere from 6-8 mil seems fair

Yet even off form and unhappy, he was still scoring goals. He scored 9 goals for us in the first half of the season before he left us, and only 1 in the 2nd half at Chelsea.

The biggest question is whether he's just not settling at Chelsea (on or off the pitch) or whether the club is not the problem, but the player has just declined. The answer remains to be seen until he leaves.

Yeah I can see Walcott being more likely. Torres for 8-10 I don't see as ever happening considering they paid 50 for the lad

I was thinking somewhere between £15-20m for Torres and £5-10m for Walcott, but to be honest, I have no idea how much either club would be looking for in the event of them going up for sale.

Talk of Chelsea going in for Falcao is gathering ground, so it's possible they may be happy to offload Torres, in which case, if Rodgers is interested, that could work in his favour pricewise.

As for Arsenal, if Walcott decides in January that he wants out, will they want to cash in on him or let him go for free in the summer. Not sure how much they could demand for him with just 6 months left on his contract..
