Until we have 4 proven strikers we will not progress.

You look at all the top teams and compare their strikers to ours then the problems obvious.

I'd say with our formation, we probably need 3 strikers but point taken.

We should go all out to try and get an out and out striker and Eriksen in January. Any other problem areas we have like LB are being ably filled by players out of position for the most part and can wait until the next window

I agree. And it's not just the top teams. Look at any EPL team and they'll all have 4 recognised strikers. We have two! No wonder we don't score enough.

Never mind the top teams who have at least 3 or 4 strikers each. Look at the freaking midtable teams like WBA, Fulham, Everton etc. They all have at least 2 or 3 proven strikers that are familiar with the league and can score goals that wins games. We are worse off than those midtable teams in the striking department, its depressing.

No. Never. The only thing he is proven at is being a trouble making cnut.

No thank you! Balotelli is a complete liability as far as I'm concerned and I don't even see him as being that lethal in front of goal.

Torres is the dream for me. I think with the 433 (4231) formation we only need 3 proven strikers in Suarez, Borini and whomever comes in January.

+1 to the 2 posts before me. Wouldn't touch Balotelli with a bargepole. Aside from his obvious trouble-making, he's not at all prolific and is on a long barren spell for City at the moment. No way.

Borini doesn't excite me in the slightest.
