What a difference a few years can make......

3 years ago we were the premier league runners up, our manager was a european cup winner and we hated our owners for not investing enough in the team...

Skip forward to today and people are debating whether finishing in the top half of the table would be acceptable or not! Some are slagging off the manager who finished 2nd in the league and took us to 2 european cup finals, whilst singing the praises of a man who has achieved absolutely nothing and is doing worse than our last manager - who was a disaster!

The mind boggles....

Hmmm agreed. I dont want Rafa back though but i dont slag him either. He was a great manager for us my favourite of my lifetime so far. But football has changed mate, I do see where your coming from though but can we please get behind Brendan.

If we lose 3 nil tonight, which is possible, I can safely say i wont be on here for days because some of the crap people spout is ridicalous on here.

if we lose 3 nil tonight, it will be his fault for fielding such a crap team. i think it's stupid to ignore Europa league in order to get 6th spot in the league(no way we can get 4th this season, maybe next year if he gets continuity and some money to spend), which will qualify us for... Europa league.
however, if downing, cole and hendo win tonight's game, then I won't come on this forum for a few days(I will be in a monastery, repenting for thinking they are crap)

Haha. I dont think we'll win tonight so im already predictin a bad couple of days with Chelsea away if we lose that people will surely be callin for his head! Should give him time i think he said himself the owners said he'll have money in January so lets just trust his word for now and see what happens if we dont buy a good goal scoring striker il be very worried though and if we buy nobody then FSG are defo acting the c*nt with us.

I don't understand the criticism or constant Rafa bashing but at the same time he isn't our manager anymore and I won't write BR off just yet...

I'm with you on supporting BR, he's an improvement on Woy and Dalglish(major improvement on the latter).

Doing worse than the last manager! LOL How many games are we into the season?!?! 6 points off 4th spot...its laughable really. If FSGs initial investment wasn't spunked on dudds then maybe things would be different. Get behind the manager FFS!
